This past month our family celebrated someone special’s very first birthday. Our golden retriever Oscar has become such an important part of our family during the first year of his life and we just love him to pieces. For starters, dogs are very easy to please. I read somewhere recently that for people, dogs are a big part of our lives, but for dogs we are their whole lives, and it’s true!
Our dog is so happy just being with us. No matter what we are doing, scratching his belly, running around in the backyard or laying on the floor together, he’s perfectly content.

After a tasty breakfast we were almost ready to hit the road and head out to our other country property for some outdoor family fun & play.
