November 2015 Stitch Fix

November 2015 Fall Stitch Fix Review

It’s almost here! The holidays! Are you ready? As I looked through my closet this past week, I realized that I don’t have too many nice things to wear for the upcoming season. I have a few beautiful sweaters and a dress or two that can be worn casually or for a family get together, but I like to dress up a little more this time of year just because. This time of year makes me feel happy and I love planning parties so I can see our extended family and friends. I also want to spend most of my time enjoying baking, wrapping presents, watching movies on the Hallmark Channel and spending quality time with those I love. The last thing I want to be doing is running around last minute worrying about what to wear. I was really anxious to see what my stylist had chosen for me this month, especially since I forgot to add some new things to my Pinterest Style Board. Well, she did a great job as always! * I apologize for the fuzziness of these pictures…we lost daylight very quickly!

Here’s My November Stitch Fix:

Laila Jayde Valerie Heathered Raglan Top $64

When I saw this shirt in the box, it didn’t get me that excited. I do like plain type shirts, so I knew that trying it on would make all of the difference. I loved this! It was simple, fit nicely, was comfortable and because the back is black, it seemed to be flattering on me. I loved this with skinny jeans (Oh my goodness, I never thought I would say that!) and a pair of flats!

Daniel Rainn Pam Lattice Detail Blouse $68

The color of this blouse is so pretty! I was really excited to try this on because I thought it would be great with dark denim or even with a skirt to dress up. Unfortunately, the sleeves were too long. This had some really nice delicate detail, but the fit was off.

41Hawthorn Berneen Printed Dolman Sleeve Top $48

This shirt was nice because the material made it perfect for a little bit of a dressier top, but the colors just weren’t me. Maybe on their own, but I wasn’t a fan of this pattern and the purply color with the black. I also tried to pair this with the sweater suggested in the above photo and it just didn’t look right…

Market & Spruce Janette Dress $68

This dress is really pretty. I loved the lace back detail and I love navy. With the weather turning colder here though, I just didn’t think I would wear it that often. We’re just south of Buffalo, so even if I decided to keep this, I most definitely would be layering over it, and that would cover the prettiest part of the dress. I also have 2 very similar blouses that I’ve kept like this from previous fixes, so I have enough of this style with the lace, in this exact color in my closet.

Market & Spruce Thebes Knit Asymmetrical Button Jacket $74

This jacket is really, really cute. I actually liked it alot and debated on keeping it. It had pockets, a hood, a cute style and comfy material. I unfortunately did not care for the price tag, especially because heading into the later part of Fall and early Winter I will definitely require something heavier to keep me warm here in our neck of the woods. I do understand that a cute jacket doesn’t need to keep you warm though, if it looks good enough! 😉
