It’s Sunday and that means that it’s time to plan a few fun things for my family for the upcoming week. With a few rainy days in our forecast here and back-to-school time drawing near, it’s more important than ever for me to make sure that my family spends some quality time together. This week we are planning a Movie Date. We are taking the whole family to a matinee see the Shaun The Sheep Movie!

The Shaun The Sheep Movie is coming to theaters near you this Wednesday, August 5th and our family couldn’t be more excited! Geared toward children ages 4-10, this family friendly movie is about a sheep named Shaun who decides to take the day off and have some fun. He gets a little more action than he bargained for with a mix up with a Farmer, a caravan, and a very steep hill that leads all of them to the Big City. It’s then up to Shaun and the whole flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.

Not only is this movie made even more adorable using Claymation for it’s animation, but the characters all have such interesting personalities. They work together promoting teamwork, leadership and problem solving. I’m sure each member of your family will have their own favorite character!

Meet Shaun!

I think that it’s hard these days to find a movie that the whole family can enjoy together. This movie is so unique not only in it’s appearance, especially with these charming and fun sheep, but also in it’s message. I’m sure your children will be able to relate to the certain feelings the characters have throughout their adventure as they try to figure out what Shaun & his friends next moves may be.
