A clean house makes me happy, but not as happy as I am when I have extra time to spend with my children. Sometimes cleaning up my kitchen can be overwhelming. Buying or making a cute little sign like this ( I found mine at a Craft Show), hanging it on the entryway door your family uses the most and actually enforcing this rule for those old enough to follow it seems to work out really well at our house! 😉
I finally feel good about my “last minute, quick” cleaning whether it’s to get outside and play a game of ball with my kiddos before bedtime or to sit down and enjoy some company.
Someday I won’t have all of these messes from everyone, so I am going to actually enjoy them as long as they can be cleaned up quickly!
