Homemade Hot Chocolate

January 23, 2013 by Shannon

Homemade Hot Chocolate

Have you ever had Homemade Hot Chocolate?  I am not talking about your everyday powdered hot cocoa mix.  I am talking about rich, creamy, dessert like Hot Chocolate that warms you up with the very first sip.  Winters are really chilly here in Western New York and we are always trying new recipes to warm up with.  This recipe is so simple and uses ingredients you probably already have on hand.  My children just love joining me in the kitchen to make this.  It’s much more fun than hot water and a package of powdered mix.  Especially around the Holidays, this Homemade Hot Chocolate is perfect to sip on while watching your family’s favorite Christmas Movie!  So make sure you take a few minutes this season to make this sweet treat.  Enjoy with a loved one and get warm and cozy by the fire!
