Making Frozen Cupcakes w/ Holstein Cupcake Maker

February 15, 2015 by Shannon

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Holstein Housewares. I received product samples to facilitate this post well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Simple Frozen Cupcakes with Holstein Cupcake Maker

Last week was my youngest daughter’s birthday!  She was so excited and while my other children were at school, we made her birthday treat!  Since it was just the two of us, we really got to take our time and I let her help me prepare the cupcakes.  She loved it!  Chocolate cupcakes are her favorite, so we mixed up a few boxes of our favorite chocolate cake mix and were all ready to go.  For the baking, I used a Holstein Cupcake Maker to help in my birthday party preparations.  It was great!

Since we have a rather large family, just baking cupcakes can take a little bit of time.  One box of cake mix makes about 2 dozen cupcakes, but I always make 4 dozen, so just one round in the oven doesn’t work for me.  With the help of my NEW Holstein Cupcake Maker, I was able to make 2 more dozen full sized cupcakes while I had the other ones in the oven.

Ready to Bake with my Holstein Cupcake Maker

A green light even turns on to tell you when it’s heated and ready!  This stylish and easy to use treat maker saves you time, money and energy in the kitchen.  It cut my prep time in half and I loved how nice the cupcakes turned out (and even in less time than the oven) in this snazzy little appliance.  I can’t wait to try some of the yummy recipes that were included with this Cupcake Maker too.

Making Cupcakes with my Little Helper

Just like any other young girl these days, my daughter loves Frozen.  Therefore, we of course had to make these cupcakes Frozen Cupcakes.  I may use a boxed mix for my cupcakes, but I do always make a homemade buttercream frosting to top them with.  Yum!

Using my Holstein Cupcake Maker

I think it’s easy to go over board sometimes when it comes to children’s birthday parties because you want them to be extra special.  You can order fancy, expensive cupcakes, which are nice, but your child may be just as happy with something simple that you can make together too!

Frosting Chocolate Cupcakes

I ended up purchasing 2 packages of these cute Frozen toppers for $3 each and the sprinkles I used were from my Holiday baking.  My daughter was just thrilled with how these look and she felt really special that they were for her birthday.  She loved how the silver sprinkles looked like ice and how the frosting was swirled high on top (easy with a Frosting 1M Tip) of the cupcakes just like the snow surrounding Elsa’s castle.

Buttercream Frosted Chocolate Cupcakes

Not only did these cupcakes not take me long to make, but they were delicious & inexpensive too!  As for my Holstein Cupcake Maker, I will be using that more often.  Not only for birthdays, but for treats on the weekend or a fun family baking day.

Decorating Our Frozen Cupcakes

There is very little clean up (especially because you can use muffin liners in it!), and if I want to, I can leave it out on my counter because it’s a pretty red color and takes up very little space.  Holstein Housewares (products can be purchased directly from their website) simplifies life in the kitchen, helps you get your children excited about being in the kitchen for a family friendly activity and can make your everyday cooking and entertaining easier.  We even made cupcakes with it on Valentine’s Day!

Happy Birthday Cupcakes

If you and your family love cupcakes, give this fun new Cupcake Maker a try!
