Celebrate With Hallmark Kids Poster Cards

Hallmark #kidscards

Last weekend we celebrated my oldest son’s birthday!  Even after a chilly week, the weekend was warm and perfect for our party!  I always like to do little things to make my children’s birthday’s special.  We don’t have huge, extravagant birthday bashes or anything, but I always get a bouquet of balloons and of course a special kids card for them to open.

Hallmark #kidscards at Walmart

Sometimes cards, unfortunately, are overlooked when they are in a pile of gifts.  My son however really likes reading through his birthday cards, so this year I wanted to surprise him with a Hallmark Poster Card!  I headed to my local Walmart and started browsing around for the perfect card.  They had a really great selection of Birthday Cards with all sorts of different themes and characters.  My 3 year old even wanted to pick out some extra cards for herself, even though it wasn’t her birthday! 🙂

Hallmark Poster Size #kidscards

My son really enjoyed the How To Train your Dragon Movies, so I knew that this card would be just perfect.  I also knew how excited he was going to be that he received a Hallmark Poster Card, because my youngest son was absolutely thrilled with the one he received for his birthday a few months ago.

Opening Hallmark Poster Card

I could see that my son was wondering what was in the envelope because it was so thick, but he didn’t say anything and continued neatly opening the card.  I don’t know if he knew what it was at first, but oh my goodness was he really thrilled when he opened it big enough and saw the full sized poster!  He proudly held it up for everyone to see and then ran over to his brother and sisters and said, “Hey, guess who got an awesome Poster Card?!  Me!!”.  I wish I had that on video because it was really sweet.  I was so happy to see that wonderful smile of his because of that special Hallmark card.

Hallmark Poster Card Surprise

Have you ever brightened someone’s day with special a Hallmark Poster Card?  Head over to Walmart the next time you want to show someone you love them in a BIG way and surprise them with one these great cards.  The Hallmark Card Rewards Program allows you to earn rewards for the Hallmark cards you buy at Walmart.  For every 5 cards you buy, you’ll earn a reward!
