Make New Holiday Memories with Hallmark #SendHallmark

Christmastime is here again and my family and I have started working on special gifts for everyone. When it comes to gift giving, it’s important to put a lot of thought into it. I believe a Christmas gift should come from the heart and make the recipient feel loved. Sometimes it’s hard to put your feelings into words, but that doesn’t mean that those feelings should be left unspoken. This Holiday season, let Hallmark Greeting Cards help you spread love, kindness and cheer to your family and friends!

Hallmark Christmas Greeting Cards

My mother has given me Hallmark Christmas Cards ever since I can remember. I always thought that it was so special, but I didn’t fully appreciate each and every card until I had my own children. This time of year I like to show my mother what she means to me. That be done with fancy gifts, it has to be done with words. When I’m out shopping this time of year I like to spend a little extra time reading through all of the different cards to find just the perfect one for her for Christmas.

Hallmark Greeting Cards & Ornaments at Walmart

I did a little shopping on Black Friday this year and the card section at Walmart was pretty quiet at 6 am. That was perfect for me! I found a beautiful Hallmark Greeting Card for my mother and right next to the cards were Hallmark Ornaments. This simple angel ornament immediately caught my attention. My mother loves angels and I thought this ornament would be fitting considering she is like an angel to me.

This year I am starting a new tradition. Along with her Christmas card, I am going to give my mother a special ornament each year. The two items compliment each other so nicely and will make a great gift this holiday.

DIY Holiday Gift Bags Kids Crafts

To include the whole family in putting together this gift, I bought small brown paper gift bags for my children to decorate. One of the special DIY Holiday gift bags will hold the ornament and card and the others will hold their special homemade gifts for my mother.

All it takes is a little creativity, crayons, colored pencils and ribbon to make these sweet gift bags. We put on a little Christmas music, sipped on a little hot cocoa during our afternoon crafting and our gift bags were ready in no time.

This is a really nice way to include your children, even if they are younger in gift giving. I think my mother is going to just love her present this year!

This little project doesn’t take a lot of time or money, but adds a personal and thoughtful touch to your family’s gifts.
