Yesterday was the last day of school for my older 3 children, and boy were they excited! Sad to say goodbye to their teachers and friends for a few months, but really happy about their summer. To start their summer vacation off right, I decided to throw a family Pizza Party! An evening with family, good food, a movie and staying up late sounded great to all of us!
Ordering takeout can get a little expensive for our large family, so on my last grocery trip to Walmart, I picked up a few of Digiorno’s NEW Pizzeria!™ Thin Pizzas. I couldn’t decide which flavor to get, so I got them all! Supreme Speciale, Primo Pepperoni, Margherita, and Spinach & Mushroom. I definitely had everyone’s tastes covered!
As soon as my husband got home from work, we got baking! With the pizzas that is!
With all 4 of the DiGiorno Pizzeria!™ Thin Pizzas cooking, I sort of felt like we turned our house into a real Pizzeria for a little bit! The pizzas smelled so good as they baked to perfection in the oven!
While the Pizzas baked I got out one of my children’s favorite books, Pizza Pat! I have read this book so many times to all of my children throughout the years that I recite it without the actual book in hand. It’s such a fun book and got us in the mood for our pizzas.
My older kids wanted me to slice the Primo Pepperoni Pizza first because you know, they were so hungry and couldn’t wait a few more minutes. 😉 So good!
I continued slicing the other pizzas and we really got to enjoy this delicious dinner, not even having to worry about it being a school night!
