Welcome to the Project Parade! Is everyone ready for Spring? I am! I am ready to bake Springy type recipes (like this yummy Lemon & Cream Cheese Coffee Cake) open the windows, do some Spring cleaning and get working in the garden. This week I’ll be starting my tomatoes on my kitchen window sill so they will be ready for planting in the garden in a few months. Have you started any outdoor projects yet?

Welcome to the Project Parade! Are you all ready for Easter? I’m still on vacation with my family in Florida and we are just really enjoying this warm weather! There’s still snow coming down at home but I’ve got my fingers crossed that that will be gone just in time for Easter! If you’re looking for a few easy and yummy recipes to try for your family get together Sunday, give this Potato, Broccoli & Pepper Jack Egg Casserole a try! It’s one of our favorite dishes. Welcome to the Project Parade! I’m so glad you’re here! Last weekend we left for our family vacation and we are really enjoying our time together. Of course the warm Florida weather has a lot to do with it. We have been spending most of our time out by the pool and it’s been great. Is the weather getting nice where you are? Are you ready for a cookout? I must have had cookouts on my mind before we left because I made this simple but tasty Shrimp & Tuna Macaroni Salad! It’s the perfect side dish for all of your grilled meats this Spring and is also nice by itself for lunch. Enough about me…I can’t wait to see what you all have been up to!

Welcome to the Project Parade! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! While I had all intentions of making my favorite Bailey’s Irish Cream Cheesecake Swirl Brownies for today, I came down with this yucky 24 hour stomach bug last night! My son had it 2 days earlier and yesterday it was my my turn along with my youngest daughter’s I guess. My husband came to the rescue and let me sleep it off while he tended to our other children at all hours of the night. I just love that guy! I will definitely be making that yummy dessert soon for him though! How about you? Are you making something “St. Patrick’s Day themed” for dinner or dessert tonight?

Welcome to the Project Parade! Well it’s finally here! The big Meltdown! With feet of snow and ridiculous amount of ice build up on all of the homes in our area, the warmer temperatures are finally melting everything! The sun was shining yesterday and even though it was cloudy today, the temperatures reached 50 degrees! It’s like a heat wave around here :)! Lol! Even though this thawing period is ugly, I cannot wait for the beauty of Spring! Have you been able to make it outdoors yet? If your waiting for everything to melt like me, get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit and try these Easy Baileys Irish Cream Oreo Truffles for dessert sometime soon! They’re delicious! Well, enough chit-chat! Time to Party!

Welcome to the Project Parade! This is our last day in Florida after the #FBFOrl Conference and even though we have had a wonderful time, it’s always nice to be home and get back into your routine. After getting a feel for the beautiful and warm weather, I’m hoping for subtle signs of Spring and no more additional snow when we get back into Western New York! It’s always a little depressing when you are about to land and the pilot says, “Weather on the ground in Buffalo is snowy and 18 degrees.” I’m hoping that’s not the case! Have you been busy with and Spring-like Activities, Recipes or Projects lately? I hope so! I would love some more inspiration that I can PIN to my Gardening, Recipe and Home Decor Boards on Pinterest!

Welcome to another week of the Project Parade! Last week started the season of Lent. For those of you who missed it, I’ve prepared a great round up of 25 Meatless Family Dinner Ideas that are perfect for Fridays during Lent or even if you are just cutting back on meat for a meal or two during the week.

I am busy packing for my upcoming trip to Orlando for the #FBFOrl Conference! I’ve never been so excited to head to Florida! Sure I’m always excited and love when our family vacations in Florida, but this extremely frigid & snowy Winter weather really has taken it’s toll on us folks here in Western New York! My husband and I are looking forward to spending some time together at Disney in between Conference events and just soaking up some of that warm and sunny weather. As much as I love staying warm & cozy inside with a bowl of soup, I do like the change of seasons.
